Welcome to Harrison Hill Elementary School of Performing Arts. We strive to build outstanding leaders of tomorrow by providing our students with a variety of educational experiences that will have a lifelong impact on their learning. It is our mission to meet the needs of each child and celebrate their unique qualities and characteristics.
Our dynamic staff works to provide excellence in education to all students through a rigorous and engaging curriculum. We empower students to not only learn the academic standards, we strive to teach students how to collaborate, question, productively struggle and become critical thinkers who establish a fundamental love of learning. Our social/emotional curriculum empowers our students to learn how to advocate for themselves and others, learn and practice empathy and gives us a universal language to talk about ways to express feelings. This allows us to create a safe and positive learning environment for our students.
Harrison Hill’s unique location nestled inside a neighborhood allows us to serve our community in many ways. Our school strives to serve as a community center and offer experiences that reach beyond the school day. We offer many engaging after school and evening programming for our families to come together and celebrate our wonderful, diverse community as well as offer educational opportunities for families to participate in together.
Harrison Hill is a nurturing environment that ensures the opportunity for each child to achieve success and academic achievement and growth. The school day is full of opportunities to explore a rich curriculum of integrated learning and a variety of experiences to explore the arts. Students have the unique opportunity to not only learn and experience art, music, media, band and orchestra, dance and drama, but they learn how to use these as representations of their learning.
